Today was day 14 on our missions trip. We left the town we were staying in and headed to Pisa. I have loved Italy, and Pisa was absolutely fantastic! Seeing the Leaning Tower of Pisa will really be a highlight on my trip! Then we performed in an open town square. It was one of two concerts that we have had outside. This one was a little more crowded than our last open air concert, but we had no issues with people being disruptive and everyone seemed very open to our message!

As a person who is not part of the choir, but instead has always observed them, it amazes me how every person performs better each time. With little practicing, every choir member and instrumentalist has bettered over the week and a half we’ve traveled together, and it’s a sign of God’s hands working in them. As I listen to their concert and observe the public listening to them, I’m in awe of how God works in real time. Today’s concert was in the Pisa Piazza, out in the open air. The sun was setting during it, and thankfully was not in the direct eye line of anyone present. There was a nice breeze, and this specific plaza gets a lot of foot traffic. At one point, we most certainly had an audience of at least 60 people. People from all ages, young and old, stopped to listen to Confutatis or clap along to Oh When The Saints. Many people walked up to the table and picked up some Christian literature. Despite everybody being so tired, we made it to the bus in time to head off to our hotel for the night, with high spirits from the concert, and eager to get to church the next day.
