This morning began with a group of us sharing our personal testimonies about how the Lord brought us here on this missions trip. They were testimonies of submitting to the Lord and not their own wills. Later, we arrived in Beziers, France for our next concert. Our last song of the concert is “When the Saints Go Marching In”. As we sang, the crowd clapped along to the beat and asked for an encore. After the concert, we began dinner in the church parking lot, when a young man of 4 or 5 came up and started playing punching me. So I played along and had fun with the little guy, and I lifted him up in the air a few times. Then, a young lady (maybe 7 years old) came up to me after seeing how I was lifting the young man, and asked me to do it for her. She had me hold her hands and help her jump into the air. This reminded me of home, where I help my little sister jump into the air the same way. This made me ever so slightly homesick.

A favorite part of the trip so far has been interacting with the young kids. It’s a reminder to me that missions isn’t just about getting adults the Word of God and seeing them get saved, but young children as well. These children will eventually get older, and I hope and pray that we have had a big enough impact on their lives that maybe one day they will grow up to be soul winners as well.

Today we traveled to Béziers. Because we arrived early, we were able to walk through the medieval town, which was about 20 minutes away, and see Place de la Révolution. We were able to get interesting group photos and enjoy God’s beautiful creation. Upon arriving back at the church, we got ready for our concert. I had a marvelous time getting to sing to this audience. The audience was very receptive and even clapped along while we were singing “When the Saints Go Marching In.” It was so amazing to see these songs reach these people. What a joyous day!
