The group had an opportunity to do special music at a local church today. I had a chance to preach on The Faith of a Christian. Everything was well received. Then we took a “Mountain of Faith” walk to see a panoramic view of Barcelona. What a great day!

Today’s visit to the church, Iglesia Bíblica, was full of blessings and answered prayers. We were able to perform in their morning service and eat a delicious lunch prepared by the people of the church. After lunch, our team walked to a beautiful mountain view that over looked the whole city. After that little adventure, the church hosted a young adult event involving trivia questions about the U.S. and Spain. The winning team won a pile of American and Spanish candy. Soon after, we ate dinner and fellowshipped together. I was able to chat with two friendly young gentlemen, Sergio and Andres. It’s been such a blessing meeting fellow Christians in foreign lands.

Today was packed with things, as per usual! First, we had breakfast at camp Ebenezer; then we packed up the vans and drove to Pastor Valcarcel’s church in Barcelona. After the service was a yummy potluck lunch! A big highlight for me was visiting a vantage point where we could see a beautiful view of Barcelona. We had to trudge up many steep streets, but the view was worth all that effort! The day ended with a fiercely competitive trivia game where we teamed up with youth from the area. Good memories were made, and much sugar was consumed.
